I have submitted a form, am I going to get a certificate?

Our service provides a clinical assessment. This assessment is based on the clinical information you provide via the online form. If deemed appropriate, the doctor will issue a certificate. The length of leave will be determined by the condition. If the doctor determines the leave in inappropriate, the patient is misusing the service, or the leave doesn’t meet the Terms and Conditions, it will not be approved. As you are paying for the clinical assessment, if not approved for leave, the fee is non-refundable.

The certificate states I was clinically assessed, but I wasn’t seen in person/I’m interstate?

Clinically assessed means you were assessed on the clinical information you provided in the online form. This differs from a physical examination. If you NEED a physical examination, this requires a face-to-face assessment, which a UCC or GP can perform.

The business address is in Queensland, but I’m interstate?

AHPRA registered doctors are able to provide leave for patients Australia wide. If approved, our medical and carer certificates have all the required information to meet Australian workplace requirements. Your workplace can contact us for verification if required.

I submitted my form but haven’t received approval or communication yet?

Assessment of forms are generally done within the hour. We offer Express Certificates, which guarentee assessment within 5 minutes if you require urgency. If not received within the hour, please check your order to confirm the details entered in the online form are 100% correct, as this is the information provided to the doctor, and may be different from your account details you enter. If it's been longer than an hour, and you've confirmed the details submitted in the form, please check your email's Junk folder before contacting us.

I have entered incorrect personal information, can this be changed?

Information is drawn from the form submitted prior to payment. This allows us to monitor for fair use and is required to meet our Terms and Conditions. You can create an account with different details, however details provided to the doctor are from the online form only. If a certificate has been approved and issued, and these details are incorrect, there is a fee of $5.99 for the doctor to create a new certificate. Please be extra vigilant to ensure the details are correct before submitting.

My certificate has the “wrong date”, can this be changed?

If approved, certificates are issued based on the submission date. Doctors will not forward or backdate documents. Length of certificate includes the day of submission. We do not offer refunds or amend documents due to human error regarding this. It is the users responsibility to understand this prior to submitting, and understanding this is a condition of use. These conditions are clearly outline on our website, the Terms and Conditions, and the online form. If you are unsure in any way about your needs, please contact us PRIOR to submitting.

  • Note. If you receive a certificate incorrectly dated due to time zone abnormalities (e.g. West vs East Coast, Daylight Savings), please advise us in your contact request, and the issuing doctor will create a replacement document.

My work requested that my certificate include my medical condition. Can you do this?

If you are wanting the medical condition added to a certificate, this can be done at an additional cost of $24.99. One of our medical practitioners will assess its suitability; if approved, they will create a new certificate for you. Since this is not a legal requirement, we suggest omitting these details.

My certificate doesn’t specify my gender, can this be changed?

Certificates are generalised to allow for automation, this is to ensure costs are minimised. Further input and specific details will require more expense from the doctors, which mean higher cost for the patient. The use of ‘they’ in our text is appropriate grammar, as it retains the pleural verb form (i.e. They currently…..). If you would like specific language used in our text, this will require a manual certificate to be created. This can be done for an additional cost of $24.99.

Can the certificate be verified?

Yes. We are happy to certify our certificates at no additional cost. Employers can simply contact us below, and once we reply, they can send a copy through for verification.

  • Note. We take fraudulent activity very seriously. We have unfortunately had to take action against multiple individuals for altering our documents to protect our business and the doctors who work for us. PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS. You will be caught, and we will take this further with authorities.
